- BIODANCE ANNUAL HOME SEASON October 23-24 and 28-29 at GEVA Theatre's NEXSTAGE!
BIODANCE and Futurpointe Dance to perform in a Contemporary Dance Festival at GEVA Theatre’s NEXTSTAGE. BIODANCE, under the artistic direction of Missy Pfohl Smith and Futurpointe, under the artistic direction of Guy Thorne, N’Jelle Gage and Heather Roffe will present original contemporary dance works over two weekends: Futurpointe on October 21, 22 and 30 at 7:30pm and 31st at 2:30pm and BIODANCE on October 23, 28 and 29 at 7:30pm and 24th at 2:30pm. Tickets are $30 for a pass to both companies, $25 for a single company and $15 for students with ID.
BIODANCE will share its visually stimulating and socially conscious works featuring the premiere of "Your Stories/Our Stories," a community-based intergenerational work. Repertory will also include "Guzzle!," a tale of oil and consumption and "On the Surface," a playful flight to the music of Mozart.
- BIODANCE Artistic Director Missy Pfohl Smith named Director of the Program of Dance and Movement at the University of Rochester.

- October 15, 2010 BIODANCE and Rochester Contemporary Dance Collective presents "A Benefit for Simon;" Hochstein Concert Hall, Rochester, NY; 8pm; Featuring works by BIODANCE, Present Tense Dance, Bill Evans Dance Company and other Rochester dance companies. Proceeds will benefit the young son of a Rochester dancer who has cancer.
