“Bridge to Paradise” premiered at MAG on Feb. 27 and March 1, 2020. This BIODANCE collaboration was directed by Missy Pfohl Smith, with gorgeous digital media projection by W Michelle Harris and a breathtaking original score by composer Peiyao Wang. Performers included Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, Megan May, Sarah Johnson, Jean Michael Rubingu, Alaina Olivieri, Donetta Tchoroleev, and Missy Pfohl Smith in costumes by Jennifer Rubens. The work was commissioned by the Memorial Art Gallery and responded to the incredible stained glass work of Judith Schaecter. It was also supported by the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew M.
